Reading in the mobile era - UNESCO report

How can mobile phones help bridge the gap in terms of access to text ? More accessible than other technologies, mobile phones are now to be found all over the world. They can a be a valuable tool to access long-form text.

Parting from this idea, UNESCO carried out a study about the uses, habits and preferences of mobile readers. It included a survey of over 4,000 people in seven countries (Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Kenya, Nigeria, Pakistan and Zimbabwe).

To find out more about the study’s findings and recommendations, find the report in the website of Capacity4Dev.
