The Observatory of collective, charitable and volunteer actions is headed by the Cotravaux association: a network of stakeholders in volunteering that aims to promote and boost the status of voluntary work as well as community work projects.

The Fondation de France Observatory distributes data about donations and sponsorship (statistical studies, qualitative analysis, surveys, etc…). Its aim is to ensure that generosity gets recognition, and to support grassroot-level stakeholders by offering them reference material about their sector.

France Bénévolat is recognized as a public services organization that aims to develop community charitable work. France Bénévolat has opened over 80 regional centres and 250 community centres for charitable workers and volunteers.

Recherches & Solidarités (Research and Solidarity) is an association based network of experts in the service of all forms of solidarity. It is a non-profit making collective project: within the association, amongst the team members, board of directors, expert committee and members; as well as in cooperation with numerous partners, including institutional, association based and private.

  • Observatory of Humanitarian Action

Led mainly by the Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier, the Observatory has the following objectives: helping people to find their way around the ‘humanitarian maze’, studying, analysing and creating awareness about the problems in the sector.

Led by the CNCRES, ONESS is the point of convergence between the measurement and observation of Solidarity & Social Economy (SSE). It makes it possible to establish links between the SSE stakeholders, public authorities, producers of studies and university academics based around work on the SSE.
